CleanSlate Mediation offer a fixed fee model which means you won't be paying $400 per hour.

We want to help you get your sh*t sorted. To do that we have to be reasonably prices. Don't pay thousands of dollars to a lawyer or the court, use us for a fraction of the cost. We offer fixed prices services and also offer flexible payment arrangements.

Lets get to know you (intake)

This is a non-negotiable first step of any mediation process. It's were we meet you and we understand the issue and determine if mediation is right for you circumstances. The cost for this is $170 + GST per party. The session goes between 60 - 90 minutes depending on the complexity of the dispute. If you're coming to us about a Parenting and Property/Financial matter, inheritance dispute or a workplace matter then the cost for intake is $200 + GST per party (these things are more complex). If we determine your parenting matter isn't suitable for mediation we'll issue a section 60(i) Certificate at no additional charge.

The Main Event (Mediation)

Depending on your issue mediation sessions are generally 2 hours in duration. For more complex matters we usually set aside 2 - 3 hours.

• Family Dispute (Parenting/Children matters only or Relationship): $750.00 per party + GST

• Parenting and Financial/Property or Inheritance Matters: $950.00 per party +GST

• Workplace Disputes: $750.00 + GST

• All other mediation matters $450.00 + GST

• Additional time is charged at an hourly rate of $170.00 +GST

The Add-Ons (Lawyer Assisted Mediation/Child Inclusive/Consent Orders/In person sessions

Our Intake and Mediation sessions are all remote (online) increasing our availability and making it easier for you to fit mediation into your busy life. However, if you prefer to have an in person sessions room booking fees will apply. These fees will be confirmed when our intake session and/or mediation session is confirmed. Generally the room hire fees are between $50 - $200 depending on the session.

Lawyer assisted and Child inclusive mediation will incur the additional fee charged by the Lawyer of Child Practitioner. This will be communicated to you before a mediation agreement is developed.

Consent orders can be drafted for $170 +GST. Alternatively, we can handle the whole process for $500.00 +GST which included court lodgement fees.

Payment Options

We offer flexible payment options if required. Full payment is required at time of intake booking and mediation fees are due in full before mediation session.
